The Energy Leash is a whip-like energy rope used as a leash which can pull enemies towards Grayson Hunt and causes them to travel in slow motion for a limited amount of time. The Energy Leash is capable of two "attacks". One is simply the grab and drag, the other is the Thumper. The slam is where Grayson grabs an enemy and flicks his wrist up and then down. When he flicks his wrist up, there is a ball of energy that follows the invisible control line of his hand, and when his wrist goes down, an area of effect explosion happens. This explosion flicks up enemies barrels and guns lying around, and puts them in a sort of stasis field for 10 seconds.

Triva

The Energy Leash is an "instinct moderated weapon" which are illegal to use.
The Leash cybernetically attaches to its user, and attaching it can be painful.
The Final Echoes use Leashes.
In Anarchy, you can change the color between Default Blue, Quick Silver, and if you use the code in the Limited and/or Epic Edition, you get Gold or Crimson .
Apparently, when Gen. Sarrano used his leash on Ishi, he was able to control him. However, no one could use this on anything or anyone else.
